One of the things to do that you should try while vacation in Bali is to explore the Nusa Penida Island. Nusa Penida is and island southeast of Indonesia’s island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighbouring small island of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. The Badung strait separates the island and Bali. Nusa Penida is the largest and most excotif of the 3 Nusa islands, its collection of unique Hindu temples and picturesque natural features of cliff formations and lagoons. More recently, the island became best known as the new sanctuary of the once-endangered Bali starling (originally an endemic species from the forested region of West Bali National Park) following a highly successful captive breeding programme. Nusa Lembongan is a part of three islands that make up Nusa Penida district. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, white sandy beaches with crystal clear water and low limestone cliffs. On the northside of the island, there is a 212 hectares Mangrove forest.
